I leave the keys in my boat and all my gear on my boat when I am not there and never had a problem in the past 20 years. If you are taking the houseboat out in a cove, I would say there is pretty much no chance for anything to happen. If you are at the dock and have your boat docked right next to the walkway, there is still a very small chance of anything to happen.

Ok thanks, sounds safe enough. I guess I'm just paranoid! I'm really excited about this trip, July can't come fast enough.

The time has come! I rented from state dock and plan to be in the otter creek area all week starting tomorrow.

I will be down friday thru Sunday. If you see a white X-star with a red hull, flag me down. What boat will you be in?

ill be down friday as well. Our houseboat is going to be by the mouth of otter and beaver in a spot called peek-a-boo. It over looks were the two split off. If you are still down look around for us b/c we will be riding in otter.

T-bird you are out of beaver correct?

My houseboat it docked at Beaver and I ride there 90% of the time. I will run over to Otter every once in a while.

Damn we turn the houseboat in Friday morning so I probably wont run into you guys. We are docked up here in Otter and loving it!
