winter trips...

Anyone have any plans or idea's for any trips this winter? I know there's the weekend 7 Springs trip (count me in Reinhardt) but would anyone wanna go anywhere out west also? I know it's early to be thinkin about snow but the sooner you figure it out the better..

Me, personally, I'd like to get out to tahoe or snowbird, mammoth or possibly even Whistler/BC...anyone else?

My only issues with going out west or way north is the cheese. Flights can make things quite a bit more expensive... : /

in my experience with doin this sort of thing...the majority of your money is spent on lodging...we got lucky last winter and a friend of mine had a place in avon...but if we could get enough people committed early enough we could lock in a good package price that would include everything but meals and beer...

another avenue we could go down, and it's kinda scandalous but i dont really care is to join the UC ski team...if i'm not mistaken it's not a requirement that you be a student, i know they spent 5 days in steamboat early last winter and it only cost like $500/person(including flight and i think dinner everynite and it was ski-in/out too)...

so there's ways we can do this affordably we just need to collaborate..
