Well... I sent this article with some pics to Wakeworld.com and Wakeboarder.com to try and get it in their news. I guess we just are not big enough in their eyes to be worthy news..... :cool:

May 29th 2007 marked an important day for Williamstown Lake in the small town of Dry Ridge, KY. This past Sunday a group of local riders and enthusiasts got together and decided to hold the first Wakeboarding event on the lake – The Willytown Throwdown. A total of 18 riders filled two separate divisions and lined the starting dock at 8:30am.
As the riders took to the water to earn their stake of the prizes, spectators from all over the lake lined the shorelines to show their support. In addition to the normal 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards, judges also awarded a rider in each division for the Best Fashion Air and Best Crash. A winner for each division was awarded by combining scores from the crowd.
The Willytown Throwdown could not have been done without the help of local sponsors. We would like to thank Plapp’s Pro Outdoors, Entertain Cincy, Optimle Studios, the Williamstown Sports Club, and everyone else who helped make this event such a huge success.
