2007 Spring Willytown Throw Down!!!

Just wanted to give a shout out to Jason for putting together one hell of an event on Sunday! And to everyone that participated, from the riders to the sponsors to the Haines family! Can't wait for next year!

Thanks for the props... But I'd have to say there were others who played a roll in making it happen. I'd personally like to extend thanks to the following:


Plapps for providing the boat, the gas, and the prizes
Paul from Plapps for hanging out and driving all day long. Driving that much in the prime sun can wear you down.
Brian for providing the PA and music - Hit EntertainCincy up for your "DJing" needs
Speedo for being the pickup extraordanaire
Dave, Pam, Joe, Matt, and the rest of the Haines crew for allowing us to commandeer their dock
Johnny "Overalls" Phillipo for being an excellent road block

Rick Rose and the Watersports Club for proving the excellent Krispy Kremes and inspiration for the event (thanks to Josh for picking the doughnuts up)
All of the neighbors at the end of the lake for coming out and being a great crowd. Despite having the stereo kicking at 8:30 am and the countless number of rollers I don't know of any complaints (yet anyways).
The excellent registration ladies who took the money and made sure you signed your forms.
Johnny 5-0 (our news patrolling friends at Willytown I've yet to meet) and Hankins for not showing up until just after we finished
Everyone else who came out, hung out, and just made it a great time.
If I forgot someone I apologize but hopefully I covered everyone. Be on the lookout for a possible event in the fall....

Yeah, The event was great. Thanks to all that got it together, and for letting us get in even though we were late, poor, and hungover. Hope we can do it again and get more riders.

i say the next tournament I ride in has to be pulled by a nautique. I have been pulled by everything but a nautique. just my 3 cents...oh yeah thanks for a good time this weekend everyone.. with the time and space you guys had to work with, it was ran better than some of the tournaments that we have been to in the past..

i just want to say thanks to jason N the rest of the haines family for letting us use there dock and host the kick *** event over the weekend... also to paul and papps for providing the boat and boat driver.... also like to thank jimmy for putting me crashing in the video thats awesome.... maybe next time ill get a part that doesnt invole crashing......
