Notes

Crypt - Inches away from landing

S-Bend - I've been running through the steps of this one for days. I'm confident that I understand the launch but only true attempts will give any proof of that. I'm watching videos non-stop. I have my sights set on this one.

Hey bro that is sck what you are doing right now!!! you will progress so much but here is a tip on what I do to help push myself.

Make a trick list that you want to learn by the end of the summer. I have my list already made. This is not the list, but it goes like this

Kickers:

Goofy (right foot forward HS tricks) :
1)backroll
2)roll to revert
3)front flip
4) HS FS 360
5) HS FS 540
6) HS BS 180

Then go on to make a list of toeside tricks, switch heel side and switch toe side
Also you can make a air tricks list then just start checking them off one by one so then at the end of the summer you will get to see first hand that you are progressing.

Good Luck this summer just ask if you need help

I have a confession to make... I'm a sucker for anything that looks badass and i've been so focused on air tricks that I've only been on the kickers a few times. I've only been to wakenation 4 times (3 last season) and have never landed an invert behind a boat. I have 2 air backrolls landed as of the end of last season but I never truly got them down pat so I'm not gonna count em in my progression.

I'll add some kicker tricks to my list soon.
I also need to work on my fundamentals... just riding goofy, surface 180's could always be better especially from goofy to reg, handle passes, and loading the line toe-side as well. I think my efforts will pay off in laying it all out so I can really keep myself focused this summer. Sure I can spend days on end boarding but if I have a goal in mind I'll get a lot more out of it for sure.

Don't forget the fundamentals. Being able to do all 8 basic 180's off the kickers will make you an amazing rider with great fundamentals. Skipping the basics going straight to air tricks is not smart at all. I would learn atleast two inverts off the kickers before trying air tricks you will learn them faster once developing a good base and air awareness. People who build a fundamental base properly and do homework and study air tricks before they try them will usually land a backroll in 3 to 4 trys. Save yourself the pain and build a good base first.. you want to be a well rounded rider in the end of it. I'll be at wake nation in a week I work there like every day. when you see me come say hi and I will break air tricks down for you and make learning new tricks easier and way more fun of a process.

If anyone wants to help me out with the trick list it would be greatly appreciated. I'd love to get a comprehensive list that would be a great guide for other riders that are looking to improve their riding, Not to mention a great way to compare yourself to other riders in the weekly grind series...
