for anyone curious...

Since it's not reported (at least that I can find) on the DNR website... the boat said the water temp at the fork was 65 on friday.

Anyone know for sure what the water quality is like there during the summer? I've heard opposing opinions... clean/not clean. I've been going there for awhile under the assumption that it was clean, so wanted to know whether i should expect to grow just 1 extra eye or 2...

Hey TduB. The Army Corps of Engineers reports the lake temps, but they're bad about posting it to their website. http://www.lrl.usace.army.mil/whl/. Last post was December 8. They do take them daily, though. You can call them (513-797-6081) and they're more than happy to tell you.

Hey, I noticed that we have the same boat. I didn't realize that ours had a water thermometer anywhere. How do I see the lake temp? We just got the boat before the winter, so we're not 100% in-tune to every little feature...

Didnt think to look for it on the corps' site. Good find, thanks

haha yea, looks like we have the same boat... Mine's orange and black with a couple wetsounds on the tower. If I see another one out there I'll flag it down and hope its you.

As far as the temp gauge, it will display on the LCD on the center gauge. There's three small switches on the dash behind your hands if your holding the wheel at 4 and 8 oclock. use the center one to scroll through the displays (Hours, time, lake temp) on that center gauge. That's how my boat is... might be different if you have perfect pass (mastercraft cruise is... alright).

How does East Fork react to heavy rains? Will there be tons of debris after this past weekend rain?
