Hey everyone,

I've been thinking about getting some closed toe bindings and I think I might want to pick them up before Wake Nation opens so I can start the season off right. It's kind of hard to shop for something like this, so I was wondering what you guys considered to be the best.

On a related note, the 2010 Watsons kind of caught my eye. I realize that no one has ridden on them yet, but is this a design that does pretty well? Follow the link below for a blurb...

Also, Liquid Force's Facebook was promoting its quick lace system. That's kind of what got my attention. I prefer laced boots over Velcro, and this seems to have the stability of laces with the quickness of Velcro.

Do you guys have any thoughts on that?

Thanks in advance,
Ryan

it looks similar to the burton quick lace system. the burton system works amazing and holds tight, only problem i've had with my snowboard boots is the laces fraying. if you call em up they'll send you a new pair, so i'd say go for it

I rode these bindings and they are very comfortable. It is amazing how far bindings have come in the last few years. They are a little stiff than the average binding, but I like mine stiffer than the Watson's because I have bad ankles. They had a problem with the footbed liner coming out, but I am sure they took care of that with the production models.

I was not a fan of the laces because they wear out, just like Tdub says. But they are backed by a one year warranty and the guys that ride 5 days a week are riding them. If they can warranty something that some people are going to ride that often, I think they will be fine. Liquid Force is great about fixing gear and you have a great dealer to work with if something happens (Wake Nation)

ill second the watson bindings although i do have 09's. i like them for the same reasons, they are pretty stiff in the ankles and I can barely walk down the street with rolling mine

Thanks for the advice, guys.

I'm using the LF Transit bindings now. They're pretty stable and comfortable enough, but I'm thinking about going closed-toed.

And I agree, I like the stiff ankle bindings best.

How are Ronix bindings? I came across these Reflecto bindings at the Boat Show and thought they looked sick...
