For those crazy enough to think about it, like me.
This page gives a very technical aspect on how it works.
makes a ton of sense!

Thats really good info for learning them. Not as many people tried them this year as I thought would have.

I learned these this summer up there and actually watched these videos multiple times before trying them. They definitely help.
It's mostly a timing/feel thing that you have to lock down to really get the load and release to work correctly. My initial attempts I was loading almost too much and releasing at the wrong time. I finally learned them when I got on a carrier behind behind someone who was throwing them. I then followed their bubble trail in the water and mimicked their body position. Where they cut and released I did the same. Got it first time after I did that.
The falls aren't near as bad as trying them behind boat so that's a plus if you catch. But you definitely have to commit to the trick. If the falls freak you out you can work on the load/release part by using a wakeskate. Just throw the biggest fins you can find on it so you can dig the board in more than the typical skate allows.

I know I need to work on body position as I can cut hard but not hard enough to get the tension I need to flick the board back and catch enough air. And now knowing the whole hips part of it that's (some of) the problem right now. Most of all what I am doing is not consistent (probably due to the hips positioning). And I don't feel I am putting (enough) weight on my front foot, So eh, I got a whole host of issues! but sometime or another it'll get there. That and choppy water still throws me for a loop.
Or do I just think too much? Doing them w/o face plants is much preferred. so practice practice practice. :)

It looks like once you have a respectable cut, you just sort of bunny hop forward whilst still holding the cut so that your heels dig even deeper in the water, enabling you to pop out as a result of the sudden pressure. Does that sound right? I'm definitely going to try this next saturday.
