For those of you who didn't get to go out to the pond today, here are some changes that the fine folks at Wake Nation did this morning:

The Dragon was replaced by the Fun Box
The Fun Box was replaced by a new kicker
The Scion Box was moved toward the shore side
The Dragon was moved to where the Scion Box was

Also:
Canope over the concession area
They were constructing a trampoline near the gift shop as well.

From what I've heard, they're going to swap the two kickers with the rails.

This all works out really well for me because a lot of the obstacles were moved to my heel side. Hats off to the Wake Nation crew for making such an awesome place ever better!

The new kicker is great. Some people are having trouble landing it (like me ha ha) but I'm new to kickers. The thing is about 10' wide and maybe 4' tall -- absolutely huge.

Looked more like 6 foot to me! Maybe It's deceptive :)

it's great, I love that they moved stuff around. After 60+ days of boarding on the same setup, just the fact that they moved stuff around makes it like a whole new park. The dragon was angled inwards so hard that you can pretty much hit it straight on and make it to the end. The scion rail is also really fun to hit on my toeside (I'm regular)

the new kicker is toeside for a regular rider, and is angled out to shore

switching the kickers and the rails sounds like an awesome idea, I hope they do this soon

I hope they get the c-rail done before I go back to school... or is the rooftop rail next?

I am really glad they changed the set up and I like the new kicker, because its not so steep. The small kickers kill my knees.

Swilson, if you are just going to ride over the kicker, it will not hurt your knees. But if you take a good cut into the kicker you will be carrying a lot more speed and then it will get to your knees after a few hits.
