try them on a wakeskate first. doing them on a wakeskate will make it easier to learn how to get the motion and the pull in at the end, and the falls wont hurt nearly as bad.

I second the wakeskate suggestion. The skate can be a bit tricky to cut in with the line tension needed but it makes the falls 1/2 as bad and forces you to edge properly.
You won't go as big on a skate but it will teach you the fundamentals of the trick without knocking you out... just ask Tombergman :)

and i third that haha yeah dude take it from me.... u dont want to get worked real bad a a raley cuz it might just put u in the hospital haha im gonna try the wakeskate next time i hit the water w/ jason and bill before i try it with the board. safer and less painful
i guess i should be gladd i let go of the handle, because i'm pretty sure i had the proper edge and line tension because i was booted off the wake.I can only assume its getting the board back underneath me is the tricky part? thanks for your help.:)

Just make sure you don't look down at the water keep your head up looking at the boat. If you look down it may cause you to "star gaze" or twist in the air this is bad. Get a wakeskate and when you bring it down make sure you are pulling the handle to your lead hip. I have knocked myself out to many times with this trick. It is not really worth it go out there and spin its much more tech.
thanks for the advise.Ive knocked myself out catching my heelside edge on a heelside backside 180 landing, no fun:(
