Not a wakeboat but still bad ass...

1970 11’2” Checkmate Playmate For Sale, almost everything in it is new.
New waterproofed floorboards & stringers & silver paint in 3/2009. New carpet, folding seats, lights, bilge pump & electrical wiring too. New Checkmate decals with knight head logo. 1968 Merc 50hp Thunderbolt 4cyl short shaft that just got new upper water pump housing & impeller and gearcase seals in the lower unit. Motor starts and runs easily, and idles smooth. I had it out on the river twice on Memorial day weekend. New battery in 3/2009 and new fuel line with 2 six gallon tanks. New Swivel-Ease transom saver. The stereo has an ipod input in the faceplate. Yup, this thing is rated for 50hp. Sometime in the mid 70's the coast guard lowered the max hp rating on boats this small to 35, but this one is grandfathered in with 50. I have the original coast guard capacity plate. I am only the 3rd owner since it was new. This boat is not for children to drive, it's fast. I get compliments and waves and thumbs up every time I take it out, and that's even before I get to the water. Can email a bunch more pics or you can see more pics at miniboats.net then click on pre-owned. $5500 or reasonable offer.

OK...but the real question is what kind of wake does she throw?

The last 2 times i took it out i forgot the GPS. On Sunday morning I went on the river at 745am and got perfect flat water and let it rip. I think I was going close to 40.
On an unrelated note I then cracked open a beer at 755am, and then another, and then another, etc. I was at home sleeping on the couch by noon when all the weekend warriors got out there.
