Hey...
Looking at buying a boat pretty soon... normally head out to east fork. Anyone else here ridin fork on the weeknights/early-late weekends?

Looking at buying a boat pretty soon... normally head out to east fork. Anyone else here ridin fork on the weeknights/early-late weekends?
I knew a guy who used to ride up there quite a bit during the week but he moved to Chicago last year. I haven't met any regular riders up that way since him but I know there are a few who hit East Fork up during the week (others may chime in).
Buying a boat... that's awesome! Any specific mfg's/models you are looking at?

There are going to be some really good deals on boats this year, wait until you find one you really want and get a good deal.

I live fairly close to east fork and go there sometimes on weeknights but I prefer the river.

I'll probably be hitting East Fork early in the year while the river is cleaning itself up - usually out there in april and may and anytime the river is high and full of debris - look for me in a blue malibu....

East Fork is my main lake, I really think it's wayyy underrated. People say it's choppy - which it is by the beach - but you gotta go to the other side of the lake, every time I go it's glassy all day.
