that is funny stuff! "vee drive", "most inboards have 8.1 liter engines"...get real!
notice they didn't go into detail on the wake and only gave examples of the i/o being able to steer in reverse and that it has more top end...two things wakeboarders could care less about. Did they really show someone surfing behind an i/o...that is a law suite waiting to happen.
I don't blame Chapparel for adding wake accessories to their i/o's but don't go trying to convince the world an i/o is better for wakeboarding/skiing than an inboard...your up against years of proven experience.
Agreed... I'm sticking to an inboard. I also think its illegal to surf behind one of those, get your feet caught in the prop and bam, you got some feetmeat. With the deep-V hull, as you add weight to the boat the wake only gets softer. There's a reason all the pros ride for all the inboards... MC/MB/CC/etc etc...
