Jeep Board Rack

So I drive a Jeep and I decided that I needed a better way to transport my boards. Here is what I came up with. It hold snowboards and wakeboards.

That's a pretty sweet setup. I tried to use a snowboard rack for my wakeboards but I found out I could only squeeze 2 boards on a 4-board snowboard rack. And it was pretty ghetto to get it to work.

T-Bird - Pretty cool set-up:cool:, I was thinking of doing something similar for the back of my truck bed, only needes to be easily removable as I hull stuff too. If I had something like this, would free up my storage locker on the boat, always a pain trying to snake the boards in there.:(

Do you have any plans for your build? I have seen some pretty elaborate ones on other foums, but yours looks pretty simple!

One thing I was thinking of was to purchase some older used racks off of a junked boat, anyone know of a junk yard for old boat parts? Maybe I just gave away a new business idea... Boat Pull & Pay:D

I am not worried about debris because they are mounted high enough that it would be very odd if something got kicked up at that steep of an angle.

I also am not worried about it because I ride my boards pretty hard, and if they get slammed into rails and rocks when I am riding them, I am not worried about road debris.
