I have two seats that have busted at the seams. I want to repair but am told with skins and labor through the dealer will cost about $400 per seat to have re-done. Does anyone have a cheaper alternative? I had them repaired through an upholster for $75.00 but that didn't last too long. They are much worse now and past repair.

Thanks for the help!

If you want a factory match you can order the skins from the dealer and have them installed by a local upholstery shop. However removing the seat/cushion can be tricky (and a pain) depending on where it's located. This will save you the labor cost of installing/removing the cushions form the dealer since you do it yourself. But it will still run you probably $300 a seat ...

Ryan,
Just duct tape it and save your $ for upgrades like turbo boosters.

Ryan,
I know of a lady out in oxford that did the upholstery in oxford. She does it out of her barn at her house. But trust me she is really good and very reasonable. She did like 4 seats in my dads pontoon and also both of my brothers boat (a supra and nautique). They all look great and she matched everything up perfectly. Her name is vicki wyant and her # is 513-265-4224. Give her a call man it is worth a shot. My brothers and dad are very very picky on their stuff and they thought she did a great job and was cheap and fast.

Speedo, thanks for the referral. Vicky did a great job on the seats for 1/4 of what I thought I was going to spend. Almost too good. Now the rest of my seats need a good scrubbing. See you this weekend.

Spring Tease Weekend
I am debating on whether to come down for it since I have a vball tourney all day on Saturday. Are some people planning on staying the night at Willy and partying/riding on Sunday at all? Let me know because I want to make sure if I make the trip there will still be people there! :)
