Update 3/15/09:
The official opening date has not been posted yet but things seem to be moving along fairly well at Wake Nation.  With the snow melted and the lake almost full the place gets you pumped for the upcoming season.  Enjoy!

UK Bluegrass Boardfest Collegiate Challenge hosted by University of Kentucky Wakeboard/ Water Ski Club and Kentucky Boatworks-MasterCraft dealer pulled 45 college students representing 15 different schools. This was the first ever college student only Wakeboard Tournament hosted by the University of Kentucky Wakeboard Club. The tournament was a huge success for the Club.  Awarding $3000.00 [...]

The University of KY Wakeboard Club, KY Boatworks and Wake Nation are teaming up to host a collegiate tournament on Taylorsville Lake on September 20th.  Only students with a valid college ID are allowed to compete as area college teams and clubs will have a chance to take home local bragging rights.
