To make hitting the slopes more feasible (we all love to save money), you can buy a discounted pass at Perfect North through CincyWake! There are multiple pass options that allow you to go one day a week or whenever you want. Buying your pass through the CincyWake club will save you about 20% off the retail price of the pass. Just keep in mind that the price of all passes increase on November 3rd!

To purchase your discounted pass you need to:

1. Register on our forum to obtain the discount password.  The password can be found on this page once you register and login.  You must be logged in to view the password.
2. Go to this page at Perfect North’s website.  Make sure the username field says “CINCYWAKE”.
3. Enter the password you obtained from this page on step 1.
4. After you login a “See Available Items” link will appear on the left. Click on this to view the available passes.
5. Buy whatever pass you want.  You can even purchase discounted lessons, equipment rentals, and gift cards!

The team of 10 wakeboarders – including three professional wakeboarding champions — will be setting a new world record for most distance traveled on a wakeboard in 24 hours. The distance traveled will be like wakeboarding from Cincinnati to Atlanta!

The 24-hour world record attempt begins noon Friday, June 25, and ends on noon Saturday, June 26. The world record attempt is officially sanctioned by Guinness World Records™, the ultimate authority on record-breaking achievement.

The public is invited to join in the fun all weekend long, and will be able to ride on Wake Nation’s lake right alongside the record-breaking riders throughout the Guinness World Record™ attempt.

Admission and parking for the entire event is FREE. All donations and pledges from the event will benefit MedLend, a non-profit organization that provides medical missions to impoverished countries around the globe.

As if setting a world-record weren’t enough, following the event on Saturday at 12:15 p.m., a couple of wakeboarding enthusiasts – Dori Craig and Tony Migliorisi from Northern Kentucky — will be getting married at the Wake Nation dock, then take their first spin on the water as husband and wife.

The award-winning Wake Nation Cincinnati is Ohio’s only watersports’ cable park where riders can wakeboard, water ski, kneeboard, and wakeskate around a 10-acre lake WITHOUT A BOAT. Riders are pulled around the oval lake at speeds of 18-20 miles per hour by a circulating, overhead cable system that runs 35 feet above the water

CincyWake is hear to bring the wakeboard community together and the Boat Show is another one of those avenues. Feel free to stop in and introduce your self to all of the dealers, even if you’re not buying a boat these guys are always looking to meet people who have a passion for the sport. If you are considering a boat in the near future you’ve probably heard there is no better time to buy than the boat show.
