Wake Nation has announced that their official Grand Opening Celebration will be held on Tuesday June 2nd, 2009 at 4:00 pm. If you have not had a chance to drive out and see the park there will not be a better time! With seven of the top professional athletes from around the world attending you will get to see an incredible show! There will be tons of door prizes and you can watch the premiere of Billabong’s first wake movie: Out of the Pond.

The list of riders in attendance are Melissa Marquardt, Aaron Reed, Kevin Henshaw, Tom Fooshee, Nick Davies, Jimmy Lariche, and Chad Buechler. Nothing against the other riders but having a chance to watch Nick Davies and Tom Fooshee shred the cable is enough alone to make the trip… These guys are arguably the best two cable riders in the world!
